Surgery clinics

We offer a range of clinics and services at the surgery. There are some tasks you can do, such as health reviews, using our online forms.

Our practice provides the following services: ​

Antenatal and postnatal care

For the care of pregnant and nursing mothers please ask the receptionist for details.

Child development clinic

Child development checks are carried out by the doctor at 6 to 8 weeks.

A appointment will be sent out by the practice.

Child immunisation clinic

These are run every week for all children in the practice.

Contraception services

We provide family planning and contraception services.

Diabetic clinic

Nurse led walk in clinic section.

We run dedicated clinics across sites to monitor our diabetic patients. The clinic is held weekly and patients will be invited to attend.

Health promotion and services

We offer health promotion and health screening services such as smear tests and well person checks, please enquire at reception.

Travel vaccinations

Travel advice and vaccinations are given by the practice nurse by appointment.

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you will need to complete a travel risk assessment form.

Nurse led walk in clinic

We run dedicated nurse led walk-in-clinics across sites.

Natal Road Surgery site

  • Fridays, 11am to midday

Grovelands Road Surgery site

  • Wednesdays, 10:30am to midday
  • Fridays, 5pm to 6pm

There are limited space for each clinic, and it is on a first come first serve system.

Your doctor can arrange for you to see any of the following professionals at the practice if it is appropriate for your care:

  • Counsellor
  • Phlebotomist
