The figures for publication are as follows:
The average pay for GPs working for six months or more in the year to 31st March 2019 was £68,852. This is for 4 part time partners, 1 full time and 4 part time locums.
Due to the way the NHS has stipulated the calculation is made we are seeing large variances of the figure between practices. The main reasons for this are that certain income items, such as locally commissioned services, are excluded from the figures and also that no differentiation is made between full and part time GPs in the final calculation.
