A Carer is someone of any age who provides unpaid support to family or friends who could not manage without help. This could be caring for a partner, relative or friend who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or substance misuse problems. 1 in 8 adults are carers. It is estimated that there are about 29,000 unpaid carers in Enfield borough.
We aim to ensure that all carers registered with the practice are identified and referred to Enfield Carers Centre for support and advice. You may print off the Carers Referral Request.pdf, fill it out and bring it in with you on your first visit to the practice.
